Creating an Experiment on the Spectrometer |
|---|
Switch to the Download Experiment view by selecting Download Experiment from the "Options" menu. This displays a tree on the top which will display search results and a panel below that shows the contents of an experiment. |
Search the database by querying the database. This can be done by either selecting one of the three menu items under the "Search" Menu or by selection of one of the three buttons on the toolbar. The search results are displayed in the tree. Camel then displays the information inside the selected suite or experiment on the lower half of the panel. |

After an experiment or suite is selected, it can be restored to the spectrometer. Save the experiment to the disk by selecting Download Experiment from the "Experiment " menu or by selecting the save icon on the toobar. |
A dialog for saving the experiment or suite is now displayed: |

The base directory is the location that the spectrometer software expects an experiment to be located. The suite name is the name of the directory that contains one or more experiments that will be run. Set the location for saving the experiment and Camel will then save the selected experiment(s) in the proper location. Camel will also create a "felix" directory and/or "nmrpipe" directory if a processing script or macro has been attached to the experiment. |
