 The
Screen Plates panel allows the user to map the screen to real life plates. Selecting Map
Screen to Plates from the Edit menu brings up a pop up box where the user sets a variety of parameters
including plate type, location, and incubation temperature. Choices are made using pull down menus
hidden in the different fields of the box. The choices are constrained by the entries made by the Lab Master
in the Resources area. Once the parameters are set, Well automatically maps the screen to the necessary number of plates.
At any point, the user is able to alter the location of the plates simply by clicking on the field and choosing a new
value from the pull down menu. |
