Lab Resources 5' Prefix View

List of all generic sequences which may be added to a primer made to the 5'
end of an ORF.

Name is the name of the Prefix.
-
5' Prefix is the nucleotide code of the Prefix.
This adds a new row to the 5' Prefix resource table.

Make the 5' Prefix window active in the Board.

On the 5' Prefix menu click Add New 5' Prefix.

The table must be saved before changes in the database occur.
This removes the selected rows from the 5' Prefix resource table.

Make the 5' Prefix window active in the Board.

Select one or more rows in the table.

On the 5' Prefix menu click Remove Rows.

The table must be saved before changes in the database occur.
This copies the data in the selected rows of the 5' Prefix resource table to local clipboard.

Make the 5' Prefix window active in the Board.

Select one or more rows in the table.

On the 5' Prefix menu click Copy Rows.

This removes the selected rows of the 5' Prefix resource table and copies them to local clipboard.

Select one or more rows in the table.

On the 5' Prefix menu click Cut Rows.

This adds the rows in local clipboard to the 5' Prefix resource table.

Make the 5' Prefix window active in the Board.

On the 5' Prefix menu click Paste Rows.

The table must be saved before changes in the database occur.
This cancels the last change to the 5' Prefix resource table.

Make the 5' Prefix window active in the Board.

On the 5' Prefix menu click Undo.

The table must be saved before changes in the database occur.
This loads a comma separated value file and adds the data to the 5' Prefix resource table.

Make the 5' Prefix window active in the Board.

On the 5' Prefix menu click Load 5' Prefix File.

In the folder list, locate and open the folder that contains the file.

Click the file, and then click Open.

The CSV file consists of the header row followed by rows that contain comma separated data.

To see the exact file format, do a save file for a table with entries.

The data in the table will be replaced with the data in the file.

The table must be saved before changes in the database occur.
This saves the 5' Prefix resource table as a comma separated value file.

Make the 5' Prefix window active in the Board.

On the 5' Prefix menu click Save 5' Prefix File.

If you want to save the file in a different folder, locate and open the folder.

In the File Name box, type a name for the file.

Click Save.

Make the 5' Prefix window active in the Board.

On the 5' Prefix menu click Save 5' Prefix, or click the Save 5' Prefix button in the button bar.

This closes the window.

Make the 5' Prefix window active in the Board.

On the 5' Prefix menu click Close 5' Prefix, or click the X button on the window's Title bar.

If the content of the View has been modified since the last Save operation, the user will be given an option to proceed and discard the changes, or to cancel the operation.
This reverts the data for the 5' Prefix to the version in the database.

Make the 5' Prefix window active in the Board.

On the 5' Prefix menu click Refresh 5' Prefix.

This will reload the 5' Prefix from the database.

If the content of the View has been modified since the last Save operation, the user will be given an option to proceed and discard the changes, or to cancel the operation.

To open the 5' Prefix window in the Board,
on the Options menu select Lab Resources then click 5' Prefix.

This Lab Resource is maintained by the Lab Master, or, by a Lab Member with
a Can Do privilege.

The Can Do Resource value is LAB_RSC_PRIMER5PREFIX.
