Lab Resources Can Do

Initially, only the Lab Master is able to modify lab resources,
however, the Can Do resource allows the Lab Master to delegate responsibility
for individual resources to lab members.

A single lab member can be assigned responsibility for multiple resources
and multiple lab members can be responsible for the same resource.

The Lab Master retains permission for all resources at all times.

The Lab Master can also use the Ca Do resource to allow other lab members to
generate some of the controlled reports, and XML dumps containing all of the
records for a particular item type.

User is the lab member with delegated authority.
-
Resources is the resource delegated to the lab member.
This adds a new row to the Can Do resource table.

Make the Can Do window active in the Board.

On the Can Do menu click Add New Can Do.

The table must be saved before changes in the database occur.
This removes the selected rows from the Can Do resource table.

Make the Can Do window active in the Board.

Select one or more rows in the table.

On the Can Do menu click Remove Rows.

The table must be saved before changes in the database occur.
This copies the data in the selected rows of the Can Do resource table to local clipboard.

Make the Can Do window active in the Board.

Select one or more rows in the table.

On the Can Do menu click Copy Rows.
Note

The table must be saved before changes in the database occur.
This removes the selected rows of the Can Do resource table and copies them to local clipboard.

Make the Can Do window active in the Board.

Select one or more rows in the table.

On the Can Do menu click Cut Rows.

The table must be saved before changes in the database occur.
This adds the rows in local clipboard to the Can Do resource table.

Make the Can Do window active in the Board.

On the Can Do menu click Paste Rows.

The table must be saved before changes in the database occur.
This cancels the last change to the Can Do resource table.

Make the Can Do window active in the Board.

On the Can Do menu click Undo.

The table must be saved before changes in the database occur.
This saves the Can Do resource table as a comma separated value file.

Make the Can Do window active in the Board.

On the Can Do menu click Save Can Do File.

If you want to save the file in a different folder, locate and open the folder.

In the File Name box, type a name for the file.

Click Save.

The CSV file consists of the header row followed by rows that contain comma separated data.
This saves the Can Do in the database.

Make the Can Do window active in the Board.

On the Can Do menu click Save Can Do, or click the Save Can Do button in the button bar.

This will replace the information for the current Can Do in the database.
This closes the window.

Make the Can Do window active in the Board.

On the Can Do menu click Close Can Do, or click the X button on the window's Title bar.

If the content of the View has been modified since the last Save operation, the user will be given an option to proceed and discard the changes, or to cancel the operation.
This reverts the data for the Can Do to the version in the database.

Make the Can Do window active in the Board.

On the Can Do menu click Refresh Can Do.
Note

This will reload the Can Do from the database.
-
If the content of the View has been modified since the last Save operation, the user will be given an option to proceed and discard the changes, or to cancel the operation.

To open the Can Do window in the Board,
on the Options menu select Lab Resources then click Can Do.

This Lab Resource is maintained by the Lab Master only.
