Lab Resources File Type

List of all file types (PDF, Word document, SDF, etc.) that may be attached
to a record.

File Type is the name, extension or description of the File Type.
This adds a new row to the File Type resource table.

Make the File Type window active in the Board.

On the File Type menu click Add New File Type.
Note

The table must be saved before changes in the database occur.
This removes the selected rows from the File Type resource table.

Make the File Type window active in the Board.

Select one or more rows in the table.

On the File Type menu click Remove Rows.

This copies the data in the selected rows of the File Type resource table to local clipboard.

On the File Type menu click Copy Rows.

This cancels the last change to the File Type resource table.

Make the File Type window active in the Board.

On the File Type menu click Undo.

This loads a comma separated value file and adds the data to the File Type resource table.

Make the File Type window active in the Board.

On the File Type menu click Load File Type File.

In the folder list, locate and open the folder that contains the file.

Click the file, and then click Open.

The CSV file consists of the header row followed by rows that contain comma separated data.

To see the exact file format, do a save file for a table with entries.

The data in the table will be replaced with the data in the file.

The table must be saved before changes in the database occur.
This saves the File Type resource table as a comma separated value file.

Make the File Type window active in the Board.

On the File Type menu click Save File Type File.

If you want to save the file in a different folder, locate and open the folder.

In the File Name box, type a name for the file.

Click Save.

If the content of the View has been modified since the last Save operation, the user will be given an option to proceed and discard the changes, or to cancel the operation.
This reverts the data for the File Type to the version in the database.

On the File Type menu click Refresh File Type.

This will reload the File Type from the database.

If the content of the View has been modified since the last Save operation, the user will be given an option to proceed and discard the changes, or to cancel the operation.

To open the File Type window in the Board,
on the Options menu select Lab Resources then click File Type.

This Lab Resource is maintained by the Lab Master, or, by a Lab Member with
a Can Do privilege.

The Can Do Resource value is LAB_RSC_FILETYPE.
