Lab Resources Lab Profile

A Sesame User may edit their registration and contact information by updating the User Profile.

Lab Name is the name of the Lab.

URL is the URL of the Lab's web page.

Info is a short description of the Lab.
-
Time Zone is the time zone of the Lab.

Master Name is the username of the Lab Master.
-
Master Info is the contact info of the Lab Master.
-
Created On is the date the Lab was created in Sesame.
-
Accept Target Requests sets if the Lab accepts Target Requests.

cDNA Guideline is the Lab guideline for submitting cDNA with a Target Request.

Protein Sample Guideline is the Lab guideline for submitting a protein with a Target Request.

Accept Y2H Requests sets if the Lab accepts Yeast Two-Hybrid Requests.

Login Show Job Requests sets if the User's Job Requests will be shown automatically after a login.

Show Job Request Status is the status of the Job Requests that will be shown automatically after a login.

Primer Min. Length is the default value for the Minimum Primer Length for Primer Calculations.

Primer Max. Length is the default value for the Maximum Primer Length for Primer Calculations.

Primer Min. Tm is the default value for the Minimum Melting Temperature for Primer Calculations.

Primer Max. Tm is default value for the Maximum Melting Temperature for Primer Calculations.

Primer Limit To 45 Bases is the default value to limit the calculated Primer to 45 Bases for Primer Calculations.

Primer Skip ATG Codon is the default value to Skip the ATG Codon for Primer Calculations.

Primer Skip Stop Codon is the default value to Skip the Stop Codon for Primer Calculations.
This saves the Lab Profile in the database.

Make the Lab Profile window active in the Board.

On the Lab Profile menu click Update Lab Profile, or click the Update Lab Profile button in the button bar.
Note

The Lab Name, Time Zone, Master Name, Master Info, and Created On fields are not editable.

To change the Time Zone, see Set Local Time Zone.
This will display the Lab's web page from the URL field.

Make the Lab Profile window active in the Board.

On the Lab Profile menu click Display URL.
Note
This sets the Time Zone for the Lab.

Make the Lab Profile window active in the Board.

On the Lab Profile menu click Set Local Time Zone.
Note

The Time Zone will be set to the Time Zone of your local computer.

If the Time Zone is incorrect, change the Time Zone of your local computer,
then repeat this.
This closes the window.

Make the Lab Profile window active in the Board.

On the Lab Profile menu click Close Lab Profile, or click the X button on the window's Title bar.
Note

If the content of the View has been modified since the last Save operation, the user will be given an option to proceed and discard the changes, or to cancel the operation.

To open the Lab Profile window in the Board,
on the Options menu select Lab Resources then click Lab Profile.

This Lab Resource is maintained by the Lab Master only.
