Lab Resources Lab Protocol Step

List of all Lab Protocol Steps that define the stage
in a multistep Lab Protocol thread,
e.g. cloning, small-scale expression testing, etc.

Lab Protocol Step is the name of the Lab Protocol Step.
This adds a new row to the Lab Protocol Step resource table.

Make the Lab Protocol Step window active in the Board.

On the Lab Protocol Step menu click Add New Lab Protocol Step.
Note

The table must be saved before changes in the database occur.
This removes the selected rows from the Lab Protocol Step resource table.

Make the Lab Protocol Step window active in the Board.

Select one or more rows in the table.

On the Lab Protocol Step menu click Remove Rows.
Note

The table must be saved before changes in the database occur.
This copies the data in the selected rows of the Lab Protocol Step resource table to local clipboard.

Make the Lab Protocol Step window active in the Board.

Select one or more rows in the table.

On the Lab Protocol Step menu click Copy Rows.
Note

The table must be saved before changes in the database occur.
This removes the selected rows of the Lab Protocol Step resource table and copies them to local clipboard.

Make the Lab Protocol Step window active in the Board.

Select one or more rows in the table.

On the Lab Protocol Step menu click Cut Rows.

The table must be saved before changes in the database occur.
This adds the rows in local clipboard to the Lab Protocol Step resource table.

Make the Lab Protocol Step window active in the Board.

On the Lab Protocol Step menu click Paste Rows.

The table must be saved before changes in the database occur.
This cancels the last change to the Lab Protocol Step resource table.

Make the Lab Protocol Step window active in the Board.

On the Lab Protocol Step menu click Undo.

The table must be saved before changes in the database occur.
This loads a comma separated value file and adds the data to the Lab Protocol Step resource table.

Make the Lab Protocol Step window active in the Board.

On the Lab Protocol Step menu click Load Lab Protocol Step File.

In the folder list, locate and open the folder that contains the file.

Click the file, and then click Open.

The CSV file consists of the header row followed by rows that contain comma separated data.

To see the exact file format, do a save file for a table with entries.
-
The data in the table will be replaced with the data in the file.

The table must be saved before changes in the database occur.
This saves the Lab Protocol Step resource table as a comma separated value file.

Make the Lab Protocol Step window active in the Board.

On the Lab Protocol Step menu click Save Lab Protocol Step File.

If you want to save the file in a different folder, locate and open the folder.

In the File Name box, type a name for the file.
-
Click Save.
Note

The CSV file consists of the header row followed by rows that contain comma separated data.
This saves the Lab Protocol Step in the database.

Make the Lab Protocol Step window active in the Board.

On the Lab Protocol Step menu click Save Lab Protocol Step, or click the Save Lab Protocol Step button in the button bar.

This will replace the information for the current Lab Protocol Step in the database.
This closes the window.

Make the Lab Protocol Step window active in the Board.

On the Lab Protocol Step menu click Close Lab Protocol Step, or click the X button on the window's Title bar.

If the content of the View has been modified since the last Save operation, the user will be given an option to proceed and discard the changes, or to cancel the operation.
This reverts the data for the Lab Protocol Step to the version in the database.

Make the Lab Protocol Step window active in the Board.

On the Lab Protocol Step menu click Refresh Lab Protocol Step.

This will reload the Lab Protocol Step from the database.

If the content of the View has been modified since the last Save operation, the user will be given an option to proceed and discard the changes, or to cancel the operation.

To open the Lab Protocol Step window in the Board,
on the Options menu select Lab Resources then click Lab Protocol Step.

This Lab Resource is maintained by the Lab Master, or, by a Lab Member with
a Can Do privilege.
-
The Can Do Resource value is LAB_RSC_LABPROTOCOLSTEP.
