Lab Resources Mass Spectrometer

List of different types of Mass Spec instruments that may be used
(ESI-Q3, MALDI-TOF, etc.)

Mass Spectrometer is the type of the Mass Spectrometer.
This adds a new row to the Mass Spectrometer resource table.

Make the Mass Spectrometer window active in the Board.
-
On the Mass Spectrometer menu click Add New Mass Spectrometer.

The table must be saved before changes in the database occur.
This removes the selected rows from the Mass Spectrometer resource table.

Make the Mass Spectrometer window active in the Board.

Select one or more rows in the table.

On the Mass Spectrometer menu click Remove Rows.
Note

The table must be saved before changes in the database occur.
This copies the data in the selected rows of the Mass Spectrometer resource table to local clipboard.

Make the Mass Spectrometer window active in the Board.

Select one or more rows in the table.

On the Mass Spectrometer menu click Copy Rows.
Note

The table must be saved before changes in the database occur.
This removes the selected rows of the Mass Spectrometer resource table and copies them to local clipboard.

Make the Mass Spectrometer window active in the Board.

Select one or more rows in the table.

On the Mass Spectrometer menu click Cut Rows.
Note

The table must be saved before changes in the database occur.
This adds the rows in local clipboard to the Mass Spectrometer resource table.

Make the Mass Spectrometer window active in the Board.

On the Mass Spectrometer menu click Paste Rows.

The table must be saved before changes in the database occur.
This cancels the last change to the Mass Spectrometer resource table.

Make the Mass Spectrometer window active in the Board.

On the Mass Spectrometer menu click Undo.

The table must be saved before changes in the database occur.
This loads a comma separated value file and adds the data to the Mass Spectrometer resource table.

Make the Mass Spectrometer window active in the Board.

On the Mass Spectrometer menu click Load Mass Spectrometer File.

In the folder list, locate and open the folder that contains the file.

Click the file, and then click Open.

The CSV file consists of the header row followed by rows that contain comma separated data.

To see the exact file format, do a save file for a table with entries.
-
The data in the table will be replaced with the data in the file.
-
The table must be saved before changes in the database occur.
This saves the Mass Spectrometer resource table as a comma separated value file.

Make the Mass Spectrometer window active in the Board.

On the Mass Spectrometer menu click Save Mass Spectrometer File.

If you want to save the file in a different folder, locate and open the folder.

In the File Name box, type a name for the file.
-
Click Save.
Note

This saves the Mass Spectrometer in the database.

Make the Mass Spectrometer window active in the Board.

On the Mass Spectrometer menu click Save Mass Spectrometer, or click the Save Mass Spectrometer button in the button bar.

This will replace the information for the current Mass Spectrometer in the database.
This closes the window.

Make the Mass Spectrometer window active in the Board.

On the Mass Spectrometer menu click Close Mass Spectrometer, or click the X button on the window's Title bar.

If the content of the View has been modified since the last Save operation, the user will be given an option to proceed and discard the changes, or to cancel the operation.
This reverts the data for the Mass Spectrometer to the version in the database.

Make the Mass Spectrometer window active in the Board.

On the Mass Spectrometer menu click Refresh Mass Spectrometer.

This will reload the Mass Spectrometer from the database.

If the content of the View has been modified since the last Save operation, the user will be given an option to proceed and discard the changes, or to cancel the operation.

To open the Mass Spectrometer window in the Board,
on the Options menu select Lab Resources then click Mass Spectrometer.

This Lab Resource is maintained by the Lab Master, or, by a Lab Member with
a Can Do privilege.
-
The Can Do Resource value is LAB_RSC_MASSPECTROMETER.
