Lab Resources ORF Modification

  • List of all ORF Modification descriptions for Target Requests and ORFs, like N-term signal peptide deleted, C-terminal deletion, etc.

Fields

  • ORF Modification is the ORF Modification.

Add New ORF Modification

This adds a new row to the ORF Modification resource table.

  1. Make the ORF Modification window active in the Board.
  2. On the ORF Modification menu click Add New ORF Modification.

Note

  • The table must be saved before changes in the database occur.

Remove Rows

This removes the selected rows from the ORF Modification resource table.

  1. Make the ORF Modification window active in the Board.
  2. Select one or more rows in the table.
  3. On the ORF Modification menu click Remove Rows.

Note

  • The table must be saved before changes in the database occur.

Copy Rows

This copies the data in the selected rows of the ORF Modification resource table to local clipboard.

  1. Make the ORF Modification window active in the Board.
  2. Select one or more rows in the table.
  3. On the ORF Modification menu click Copy Rows.

Note

  • The table must be saved before changes in the database occur.

Cut Rows

This removes the selected rows of the ORF Modification resource table and copies them to local clipboard.

  1. Make the ORF Modification window active in the Board.
  2. Select one or more rows in the table.
  3. On the ORF Modification menu click Cut Rows.

  • The table must be saved before changes in the database occur.

Paste Rows

This adds the rows in local clipboard to the ORF Modification resource table.

  1. Make the ORF Modification window active in the Board.
  2. On the ORF Modification menu click Paste Rows.

  • The table must be saved before changes in the database occur.

Undo

This cancels the last change to the ORF Modification resource table.

  1. Make the ORF Modification window active in the Board.
  2. On the ORF Modification menu click Undo.

Note

  • The table must be saved before changes in the database occur.

Load ORF Modification File

This loads a comma separated value file and adds the data to the ORF Modification resource table.

  1. Make the ORF Modification window active in the Board.
  2. On the ORF Modification menu click Load ORF Modification File.
  3. In the folder list, locate and open the folder that contains the file.
  4. Click the file, and then click Open.

Note

  • The CSV file consists of the header row followed by rows that contain comma separated data.
  • To see the exact file format, do a save file for a table with entries.
  • The data in the table will be replaced with the data in the file.
  • The table must be saved before changes in the database occur.

Save ORF Modification File

This saves the ORF Modification resource table as a comma separated value file.

  1. Make the ORF Modification window active in the Board.
  2. On the ORF Modification menu click Save ORF Modification File.
  3. If you want to save the file in a different folder, locate and open the folder.
  4. In the File Name box, type a name for the file.
  5. Click Save.

Note

  • The CSV file consists of the header row followed by rows that contain comma separated data.

Save ORF Modification

This saves the ORF Modification in the database.

  1. Make the ORF Modification window active in the Board.
  2. On the ORF Modification menu click Save ORF Modification, or click the Save ORF Modification button in the button bar.

Note

  • This will replace the information for the current ORF Modification in the database.

Close ORF Modification

This closes the window.

  1. Make the ORF Modification window active in the Board.
  2. On the ORF Modification menu click Close ORF Modification, or click the X button on the window's Title bar.

Note

  • If the content of the View has been modified since the last Save operation, the user will be given an option to proceed and discard the changes, or to cancel the operation.

Refresh ORF Modification

This reverts the data for the ORF Modification to the version in the database.

  1. Make the ORF Modification window active in the Board.
  2. On the ORF Modification menu click Refresh ORF Modification.

Note

  • This will reload the ORF Modification from the database.
  • If the content of the View has been modified since the last Save operation, the user will be given an option to proceed and discard the changes, or to cancel the operation.

General Comments

  • To open the ORF Modification window in the Board, on the Options menu select Lab Resources then click ORF Modification.
  • This Lab Resource is maintained by the Lab Master, or, by a Lab Member with a Can Do privilege.
  • The Can Do Resource value is LAB_RSC_ORFMODIFICATION.
