Lab Resources PEPC Contact Role

  • List of all PEPC Contact Roles that can be used for the <role> element in a PepcDB deposition, e.g. Principal Investigator, Scientist, Archiver, etc.

Fields

  • PEPC Contact Role is the description of the PEPC Contact Role.

Add New PEPC Contact Role

This adds a new row to the PEPC Contact Role resource table.

  1. Make the PEPC Contact Role window active in the Board.
  2. On the PEPC Contact Role menu click Add New PEPC Contact Role.

Note

  • The table must be saved before changes in the database occur.

Remove Rows

This removes the selected rows from the PEPC Contact Role resource table.

  1. Make the PEPC Contact Role window active in the Board.
  2. Select one or more rows in the table.
  3. On the PEPC Contact Role menu click Remove Rows.

Note

  • The table must be saved before changes in the database occur.

Copy Rows

This copies the data in the selected rows of the PEPC Contact Role resource table to local clipboard.

  1. Make the PEPC Contact Role window active in the Board.
  2. Select one or more rows in the table.
  3. On the PEPC Contact Role menu click Copy Rows.

Note

  • The table must be saved before changes in the database occur.

Cut Rows

This removes the selected rows of the PEPC Contact Role resource table and copies them to local clipboard.

  1. Make the PEPC Contact Role window active in the Board.
  2. Select one or more rows in the table.
  3. On the PEPC Contact Role menu click Cut Rows.

Note

  • The table must be saved before changes in the database occur.

Paste Rows

This adds the rows in local clipboard to the PEPC Contact Role resource table.

  1. Make the PEPC Contact Role window active in the Board.
  2. On the PEPC Contact Role menu click Paste Rows.

  • The table must be saved before changes in the database occur.

Undo

This cancels the last change to the PEPC Contact Role resource table.

  1. Make the PEPC Contact Role window active in the Board.
  2. On the PEPC Contact Role menu click Undo.

  • The table must be saved before changes in the database occur.

Load PEPC Contact Role File

This loads a comma separated value file and adds the data to the PEPC Contact Role resource table.

  1. Make the PEPC Contact Role window active in the Board.
  2. On the PEPC Contact Role menu click Load PEPC Contact Role File.
  3. In the folder list, locate and open the folder that contains the file.
  4. Click the file, and then click Open.

Note

  • The CSV file consists of the header row followed by rows that contain comma separated data.
  • To see the exact file format, do a save file for a table with entries.
  • The data in the table will be replaced with the data in the file.
  • The table must be saved before changes in the database occur.

Save PEPC Contact Role File

This saves the PEPC Contact Role resource table as a comma separated value file.

  1. Make the PEPC Contact Role window active in the Board.
  2. On the PEPC Contact Role menu click Save PEPC Contact Role File.
  3. If you want to save the file in a different folder, locate and open the folder.
  4. In the File Name box, type a name for the file.
  5. Click Save.

Note

  • The CSV file consists of the header row followed by rows that contain comma separated data.

Save PEPC Contact Role

This saves the PEPC Contact Role in the database.

  1. Make the PEPC Contact Role window active in the Board.
  2. On the PEPC Contact Role menu click Save PEPC Contact Role, or click the Save PEPC Contact Role button in the button bar.

Note

  • This will replace the information for the current PEPC Contact Role in the database.

Close PEPC Contact Role

This closes the window.

  1. Make the PEPC Contact Role window active in the Board.
  2. On the PEPC Contact Role menu click Close PEPC Contact Role, or click the X button on the window's Title bar.

Note

  • If the content of the View has been modified since the last Save operation, the user will be given an option to proceed and discard the changes, or to cancel the operation.

Refresh PEPC Contact Role

This reverts the data for the PEPC Contact Role to the version in the database.

  1. Make the PEPC Contact Role window active in the Board.
  2. On the PEPC Contact Role menu click Refresh PEPC Contact Role.

Note

  • This will reload the PEPC Contact Role from the database.
  • If the content of the View has been modified since the last Save operation, the user will be given an option to proceed and discard the changes, or to cancel the operation.

General Comments

  • To open the PEPC Contact Role window in the Board, on the Options menu select Lab Resources then select Locations then click PEPC Contact Role.
  • This Lab Resource is maintained by the Lab Master, or, by a Lab Member with a Can Do privilege.
  • The Can Do Resource value is LAB_RSC_PEPCCONTACTROLE.
