Fields

• Slot Name is the deck symbol for a source or destination position of a QIAGEN BioRobot.
• Slot Type is the type of the deck position of a QIAGEN BioRobot.

Add New QIAGEN BioRobot Slot

This adds a new row to the QIAGEN BioRobot Slot resource table.

1. Make the QIAGEN BioRobot Slot window active in the Board.
2. On the QIAGEN BioRobot Slot menu click Add New QIAGEN BioRobot Slot.

Note

• The table must be saved before changes in the database occur.

Remove Rows

This removes the selected rows from the QIAGEN BioRobot Slot resource table.

1. Make the QIAGEN BioRobot Slot window active in the Board.
2. Select one or more rows in the table.
3. On the QIAGEN BioRobot Slot menu click Remove Rows.

Note

• The table must be saved before changes in the database occur.

Copy Rows

This copies the data in the selected rows of the QIAGEN BioRobot Slot resource table to local clipboard.

1. Make the QIAGEN BioRobot Slot window active in the Board.
2. Select one or more rows in the table.
3. On the QIAGEN BioRobot Slot menu click Copy Rows.

Note

• The table must be saved before changes in the database occur.

Cut Rows

This removes the selected rows of the QIAGEN BioRobot Slot resource table and copies them to local clipboard.

1. Make the QIAGEN BioRobot Slot window active in the Board.
2. Select one or more rows in the table.
3. On the QIAGEN BioRobot Slot menu click Cut Rows.

• The table must be saved before changes in the database occur.

Paste Rows

This adds the rows in local clipboard to the QIAGEN BioRobot Slot resource table.

1. Make the QIAGEN BioRobot Slot window active in the Board.
2. On the QIAGEN BioRobot Slot menu click Paste Rows.

• The table must be saved before changes in the database occur.

Undo

This cancels the last change to the QIAGEN BioRobot Slot resource table.

1. Make the QIAGEN BioRobot Slot window active in the Board.
2. On the QIAGEN BioRobot Slot menu click Undo.

• The table must be saved before changes in the database occur.

Load QIAGEN BioRobot Slot File

This loads a comma separated value file and adds the data to the QIAGEN BioRobot Slot resource table.

1. Make the QIAGEN BioRobot Slot window active in the Board.
2. On the QIAGEN BioRobot Slot menu click Load QIAGEN BioRobot Slot File.
3. In the folder list, locate and open the folder that contains the file.
4. Click the file, and then click Open.

Note

• The CSV file consists of the header row followed by rows that contain comma separated data.
• To see the exact file format, do a save file for a table with entries.
• The data in the table will be replaced with the data in the file.
• The table must be saved before changes in the database occur.

Save QIAGEN BioRobot Slot File

This saves the QIAGEN BioRobot Slot resource table as a comma separated value file.

1. Make the QIAGEN BioRobot Slot window active in the Board.
2. On the QIAGEN BioRobot Slot menu click Save QIAGEN BioRobot Slot File.
3. If you want to save the file in a different folder, locate and open the folder.
4. In the File Name box, type a name for the file.
5. Click Save.

Note

• The CSV file consists of the header row followed by rows that contain comma separated data.

Save QIAGEN BioRobot Slot

This saves the QIAGEN BioRobot Slot in the database.

1. Make the QIAGEN BioRobot Slot window active in the Board.
2. On the QIAGEN BioRobot Slot menu click Save QIAGEN BioRobot Slot, or click the Save QIAGEN BioRobot Slot button in the button bar.

Note

• This will replace the information for the current QIAGEN BioRobot Slot in the database.

Close QIAGEN BioRobot Slot

This closes the window.

1. Make the QIAGEN BioRobot Slot window active in the Board.
2. On the QIAGEN BioRobot Slot menu click Close QIAGEN BioRobot Slot, or click the X button on the window's Title bar.

Note

• If the content of the View has been modified since the last Save operation, the user will be given an option to proceed and discard the changes, or to cancel the operation.

Refresh QIAGEN BioRobot Slot

This reverts the data for the QIAGEN BioRobot Slot to the version in the database.

1. Make the QIAGEN BioRobot Slot window active in the Board.
2. On the QIAGEN BioRobot Slot menu click Refresh QIAGEN BioRobot Slot.

Note

• This will reload the QIAGEN BioRobot Slot from the database.
• If the content of the View has been modified since the last Save operation, the user will be given an option to proceed and discard the changes, or to cancel the operation.

General Comments

• To open the QIAGEN BioRobot Slot window in the Board, on the Options menu select Lab Resources then click QIAGEN BioRobot Slot.
• This Lab Resource is maintained by the Lab Master, or, by a Lab Member with a Can Do privilege.
• The Can Do Resource value is LAB_RSC_QIAGENBIOROBOTSLOT.
