Lab Resources Locations Room

List of all Rooms where a product
(plasmid, protein, etc.) may be stored.

Room is the name, number, or description of the Room.
This adds a new row to the Room resource table.

Make the Room window active in the Board.

On the Room menu click Add New Room.
Note

The table must be saved before changes in the database occur.
This removes the selected rows from the Room resource table.

Make the Room window active in the Board.

Select one or more rows in the table.

On the Room menu click Remove Rows.

The table must be saved before changes in the database occur.
This copies the data in the selected rows of the Room resource table to local clipboard.

Make the Room window active in the Board.

Select one or more rows in the table.

On the Room menu click Copy Rows.

This removes the selected rows of the Room resource table and copies them to local clipboard.

This cancels the last change to the Room resource table.

Make the Room window active in the Board.

On the Room menu click Undo.

This loads a comma separated value file and adds the data to the Room resource table.

Make the Room window active in the Board.

On the Room menu click Load Room File.

In the folder list, locate and open the folder that contains the file.

Click the file, and then click Open.

The CSV file consists of the header row followed by rows that contain comma separated data.

To see the exact file format, do a save file for a table with entries.

The data in the table will be replaced with the data in the file.

The table must be saved before changes in the database occur.
This saves the Room resource table as a comma separated value file.

Make the Room window active in the Board.

On the Room menu click Save Room File.

If you want to save the file in a different folder, locate and open the folder.

In the File Name box, type a name for the file.

Click Save.

If the content of the View has been modified since the last Save operation, the user will be given an option to proceed and discard the changes, or to cancel the operation.
This reverts the data for the Room to the version in the database.

On the Room menu click Refresh Room.

This will reload the Room from the database.

To open the Room window in the Board,
on the Options menu select Lab Resources then select
Locations then click Room.

This Lab Resource is maintained by the Lab Master, or, by a Lab Member with
a Can Do privilege.

The Can Do Resource value is LAB_RSC_LOCATIONS.
