Fields

• Selection Media is the name of the Selection Media.

Add New Selection Media

This adds a new row to the Selection Media resource table.

1. Make the Selection Media window active in the Board.
2. On the Selection Media menu click Add New Selection Media.

Note

• The table must be saved before changes in the database occur.

Remove Rows

This removes the selected rows from the Selection Media resource table.

1. Make the Selection Media window active in the Board.
2. Select one or more rows in the table.
3. On the Selection Media menu click Remove Rows.

• The table must be saved before changes in the database occur.

Copy Rows

This copies the data in the selected rows of the Selection Media resource table to local clipboard.

1. Make the Selection Media window active in the Board.
2. Select one or more rows in the table.
3. On the Selection Media menu click Copy Rows.

Note

• The table must be saved before changes in the database occur.

Cut Rows

This removes the selected rows of the Selection Media resource table and copies them to local clipboard.

1. Make the Selection Media window active in the Board.
2. Select one or more rows in the table.
3. On the Selection Media menu click Cut Rows.

• The table must be saved before changes in the database occur.

Paste Rows

This adds the rows in local clipboard to the Selection Media resource table.

1. Make the Selection Media window active in the Board.
2. On the Selection Media menu click Paste Rows.

• The table must be saved before changes in the database occur.

Undo

This cancels the last change to the Selection Media resource table.

1. Make the Selection Media window active in the Board.
2. On the Selection Media menu click Undo.

• The table must be saved before changes in the database occur.

Load Selection Media File

This loads a comma separated value file and adds the data to the Selection Media resource table.

1. Make the Selection Media window active in the Board.
2. On the Selection Media menu click Load Selection Media File.
3. In the folder list, locate and open the folder that contains the file.
4. Click the file, and then click Open.

Note

• The CSV file consists of the header row followed by rows that contain comma separated data.
• To see the exact file format, do a save file for a table with entries.
• The data in the table will be replaced with the data in the file.
• The table must be saved before changes in the database occur.

Save Selection Media File

This saves the Selection Media resource table as a comma separated value file.

1. Make the Selection Media window active in the Board.
2. On the Selection Media menu click Save Selection Media File.
3. If you want to save the file in a different folder, locate and open the folder.
4. In the File Name box, type a name for the file.
5. Click Save.

Note

• The CSV file consists of the header row followed by rows that contain comma separated data.

Save Selection Media

This saves the Selection Media in the database.

1. Make the Selection Media window active in the Board.
2. On the Selection Media menu click Save Selection Media, or click the Save Selection Media button in the button bar.

Note

• This will replace the information for the current Selection Media in the database.

Close Selection Media

This closes the window.

1. Make the Selection Media window active in the Board.
2. On the Selection Media menu click Close Selection Media, or click the X button on the window's Title bar.

Note

• If the content of the View has been modified since the last Save operation, the user will be given an option to proceed and discard the changes, or to cancel the operation.

Refresh Selection Media

This reverts the data for the Selection Media to the version in the database.

1. Make the Selection Media window active in the Board.
2. On the Selection Media menu click Refresh Selection Media.

Note

• This will reload the Selection Media from the database.
• If the content of the View has been modified since the last Save operation, the user will be given an option to proceed and discard the changes, or to cancel the operation.

General Comments

• To open the Selection Media window in the Board, on the Options menu select Lab Resources then click Selection Media.
• This Lab Resource is maintained by the Lab Master, or, by a Lab Member with a Can Do privilege.
• The Can Do Resource value is LAB_RSC_SELECTIONMEDIA.
