System Resources Sample Components Added Salt

  • List of Salts that may be added to a Sample.

Fields

  • Added Salt is the name of the Added Salt.

Add New Added Salt

This adds a new row to the Added Salt resource table.

  1. Make the Added Salt window active in the Board.
  2. On the Added Salt menu click Add New Added Salt.

Note

  • The table must be saved before changes in the database occur.

Remove Rows

This removes the selected rows from the Added Salt resource table.

  1. Make the Added Salt window active in the Board.
  2. Select one or more rows in the table.
  3. On the Added Salt menu click Remove Rows.

Note

  • The table must be saved before changes in the database occur.

Copy Rows

This copies the data in the selected rows of the Added Salt resource table to local clipboard.

  1. Make the Added Salt window active in the Board.
  2. Select one or more rows in the table.
  3. On the Added Salt menu click Copy Rows.

  • The table must be saved before changes in the database occur.

Cut Rows

This removes the selected rows of the Added Salt resource table and copies them to local clipboard.

  1. Make the Added Salt window active in the Board.
  2. Select one or more rows in the table.
  3. On the Added Salt menu click Cut Rows.

  • The table must be saved before changes in the database occur.

Paste Rows

This adds the rows in local clipboard to the Added Salt resource table.

  1. Make the Added Salt window active in the Board.
  2. On the Added Salt menu click Paste Rows.

  • The table must be saved before changes in the database occur.

Undo

This cancels the last change to the Added Salt resource table.

  1. Make the Added Salt window active in the Board.
  2. On the Added Salt menu click Undo.

  • The table must be saved before changes in the database occur.

Load Added Salt File

This loads a comma separated value file and adds the data to the Added Salt resource table.

  1. Make the Added Salt window active in the Board.
  2. On the Added Salt menu click Load Added Salt File.
  3. In the folder list, locate and open the folder that contains the file.
  4. Click the file, and then click Open.

Note

  • The CSV file consists of the header row followed by rows that contain comma separated data.
  • To see the exact file format, do a save file for a table with entries.
  • The data in the table will be replaced with the data in the file.
  • The table must be saved before changes in the database occur.

Save Added Salt File

This saves the Added Salt resource table as a comma separated value file.

  1. Make the Added Salt window active in the Board.
  2. On the Added Salt menu click Save Added Salt File.
  3. If you want to save the file in a different folder, locate and open the folder.
  4. In the File Name box, type a name for the file.
  5. Click Save.

Note

  • The CSV file consists of the header row followed by rows that contain comma separated data.

Save Added Salt

This saves the Added Salt in the database.

  1. Make the Added Salt window active in the Board.
  2. On the Added Salt menu click Save Added Salt, or click the Save Added Salt button in the button bar.

Note

  • This will replace the information for the current Added Salt in the database.

Close Added Salt

This closes the window.

  1. Make the Added Salt window active in the Board.
  2. On the Added Salt menu click Close Added Salt, or click the X button on the window's Title bar.

Note

  • If the content of the View has been modified since the last Save operation, the user will be given an option to proceed and discard the changes, or to cancel the operation.

Refresh Added Salt

This reverts the data for the Added Salt to the version in the database.

  1. Make the Added Salt window active in the Board.
  2. On the Added Salt menu click Refresh Added Salt.

Note

  • This will reload the Added Salt from the database.
  • If the content of the View has been modified since the last Save operation, the user will be given an option to proceed and discard the changes, or to cancel the operation.

General Comments

  • To open the Added Salt window in the Board, on the Options menu select System Resources then select Sample Components then click Added Salt.
  • To make the Added Salt window active if it is already in the Board, on the Board's Window menu click Added Salt, or click on the Added Salt window's Title bar.
  • This System Resource is maintained by a Sesame user, usually a Sesame administrator, with a Can Do privilege.
  • To give the Can Do privilege for this resource to user JoeSmith, execute the following SQL statement:
    insert into candothis values ('JoeSmith', 'SYS_RSC_SAMPLECOMPONENTS', 'Sesame', 'SYS');
  • To revoke the Can Do privilege for this resource from user JoeSmith, execute the following SQL statement:
    delete from candothis where user_name='JoeSmith' and what='SYS_RSC_SAMPLECOMPONENTS' and ass_name='Sesame' and ass_type='SYS';
